INDIAN ICED TEA Recipe



Iced Tea might be the most drank cold drink after the Cola's. But it is an Healthy alternative to many other artificial drinks. Procedure to make an Ice tea is quite simple and anyone can make it quickly . It is the best summer drink and if mixed with alcohol, becomes an party drink. It is served as LIT (Long island Iced Tea) is many restaurants in India and thus i named it Indian Iced Tea. I will try to illustrate how to make a Good Iced tea here.

 Ingredients for Indian Iced Tea

  • 60 ml Grey Goose Orange Vodka ( For the Party Folks)
  • 90 ml Marsala tea concoction
  • 60 ml apple juice
  • 30 ml lime juice
  • 20 ml sugar syrup
  • 2-3 cinnamon sticks

How to make Iced Tea Recipe

  • Mix and stir all ingredients together in a glass.
  • Garnish with a cinnamon a stick on the side or with a sprig of mint for great looks.

You can put lots of Ice also to make it really cool. Serve with some Hot snacks to the guests for a great mix of Hot and Cold.

Make sure the Quantity is right for all the ice tea ingredients to make a perfect homemade iced tea

Rajma Burger - Rajma Masala Recipe

Rajma is one of the most favorite food of the Indian people. Its not only high in protein and nutrition but also high in flavor once you mix some Indian spices into it. Rajma is also called Kidney Beans. There are variety of Rajma recipes you can make is to make it more spicier or mild so that you can suit various tastes. Rajma masala recipe combined with a Burger can be the most lethal recipe for taste buds. It can be called an Indian version of the famous Burger. Rajma chawal is one more famous item in India but here i am going to discuss a more unique recipe which  i make at home. Its called Rajma Burger.

Ingredients for Rajma Burger

  • 250 gms Kidney Beans (Rajma), mashed
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbs. bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbs. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 Tbs.   Ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp. Chili  Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Curry Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Ground Cumin Seed
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1/8 tsp. Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 slice Cheese

How to make  Rajma Burger

  • In a large bowl combine the mashed kidney beans, onion, garlic, bread crumb, parsley, ketchup, chili powder, curry powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well and chill for 15 minutes. Form into burgers and fry in a small amount of oil, or in a nonstick pan with oil, over medium heat.
  • Toast a burger bun, spread butter top with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, patty and cheese.
That's how you make a cracking Burger at Home with Kidney Beans.

Aloo Cake with Gobi Sauce and Chilli Jam

Ingredients for Gobi Sauce  



  • 2 Tbsps Oil
  • 1 Tsp Chopped Garlic
  • 1 Cup sliced Onions
  • 400 Gms Chopped Cauliflower
  • 1 Cup Vegetable Stock
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 2 Star Anise
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste  
  • For the Aloo Cake
  • 2 Potatoes sliced
  • 1/2 Deseded, Roasted and Peeled each red, yellow and green Capsicum
  • 3 Tbsps Cheese
  • 3 Tbsps Cream with Salt and Pepper
  • Hot Water
  • Salt 

Ingredients for the Chilli Jam 

  • 1 sliced each red yellow and green capsicum
  • 1 cup apple vinegar/ regular vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Salt
  • Parsley/coriander to garnish 

Recipe to make Gobi Sauce - Cooking with Cauliflower

  • Heat the oil in a pan. Add garlic and onion. Fry till onion is soft. Add cauliflower and stock and cook till stock reduces.
  • Add milk, star anise, salt and pepper and cook for 2 mins.
  • When cauliflower is soft put the mixture in a mixer and grind till a smooth paste is formed.
  • Keep aside. 

Recipe To make Aloo Cake - Potato Cake Recipe

  • Cook Potato slices in boiling water and salt till soft.
  • Take a greased mold and layer the potato slices with the red yellow and green capsicum adding cheese and cream in between the alters.
  • Top with some more cheese and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 15 to 20 mins. 

Recipe to make Chilli Jam 

  • Cook the capsicum with vinegar and honey till it gets a jam like consistency.
  • Serve Potato cake with Cauliflower sauce and garnish with Chilli jam and Parsley /coriander leaves.

Ingredients for Molten Lava Cake Recipe


  • ¼ cup   Chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup   Cherry filling
  • 2 cups   Refined flour
  • 1 tsp   Baking powder
  • ¾ tbsp   Soda bi-carb
  • 1 cup   Amul curd
  • A few drops  Vanilla essence
  • 1 cup   Amul Milk
  • ¾ cup   White butter
  • ¾ cup   Caster sugar
  • 6 tbsp   Cocoa powder

How to cook Molten Choco Lava Cake

  • Preheat oven to 170*C. Grease a cake tin and line it with butter paper. Mix the chocolate chips with cherry filling and keep aside.
  • Sift flour, baking powder, soda bicarb and cocoa powder together. Heat the milk till it is lukewarm.
  • Whisk the curd, caster sugar, butter and vanilla essence together till smooth and frothy.
  • Fold in the flour mixture alternating with milk. Mix quickly but gently to a smooth batter.
  • Pour into well-greased muffin molds and spoon chocolate chips & cherry filling mixture in the center and bake on the center rack for 8 minutes.
  • Check the cake, remove cake from the oven and after a few seconds, de-mold it and serve.
  • Garnish it with some Choco chips cookies.

  • 20 gms baking powder
  • 280 gms butter
  • 250 ml milk
  • 880 gms caster sugar
  • 500 ml oil
  • 135 ml lemon juice
  • 135 ml cherry liqueur (optional)

How to cook / make Swiss Carrot Cake Recipe


  • Butter a 24 cm cake tin and sprinkle some flour on it, tap the excess flour away.
  • Heat your oven to 185 degree Celsius.
  • Peel and grate the carrots, preferably quite thin.
  • In a clean dry bowl beat milk, butter and caster sugar together until its thick, light and forms a ribbon.
  • Then add the grated carrot, almond powder, bread crumbs, nutmeg powder, cinnamon powder, ginger powder and baking powder.
  • Then add oil, lemon juice and cherry liqueur.
  • Put the mixture in a tray and bake in a pre-heated oven for 30 mins.
